　　no adapter or LED (they are available though), Volume-Bias-Drive-Gain knobs 清晰的全频boost，没有任何的渲染。有gain和headroom的调节，没有tone的调节。非常好的clean，有足够的gain，全面的现代音色。

Voodoo Labs Sparkle Drive

　　Voodoo Labs Sparkledrive, 9v adapter LED, Drive, Tone, Blend and Level 如果一直开着clean（也就是blend这个旋钮开到0），drive和tone的旋律是不起作用的，这时候就是个单纯的clean boost。在中频的表现有点“糊”，在低频好像有轻微boost。但是这个是设计放在808的回路中间的，这时候就要把blend打开。对于一般情况，这块的gain是够用的，但是可能不满足某些用户的要求。

Menatone Red

　　Menatone RED no LED or adapter, Gain Bite Volume knobs This is the forerunner of the Red Snapper which has more gain and drive and 'bite', and the RED is no longer available new......too bad- its a great clean boost, even with the gain most of the way up it doesn't get really distorted. Most would call it a dirty clean rather than a Drive tone. I had the Snapper at the same time I got this, and it does better in the drive category, but the RED is a great natural boost with good gain and more treble bite than most of us could use - thank goodness for the bite knob. （注：作者在这里提到好像是有Menatone Red和Red Snapper这两种，但是在官方网站我也没找到有叫Menatone Red的，作者在这里好像在比较red和red snapper，逻辑性好像有点问题，不知道在说哪一个，大家还是看原文把。）

Banzai Cold Fusion

　　Banzai Cold Fusion, LED 9v adapter, Gain Tone Level knobs Interesting interaction of the knobs有趣的旋钮交互感（？不知所云－本人注）——我找到了不错的clean音色，它突出了中频的部分。但是把gain开得很小，声音是很清晰的，当把gain开到9点钟位置，中频开始突出加厚，并且开始失真，但是tone旋钮控制范围相当广，所以你还是能调节出一个比较清晰的音色。当gain开大的时候，it kind of goes to Tele-bridge-pickup-land with a nice midrange bump-honk.... （不知道咋翻）我愿意话更多的时间在过载的音色测试上，如果它表现的象klon，我就能明白为什么人们有那么多截然不同的意见。。。（不知所云，原文If this is like the Klon, I can see why people have such differing opinions... ）
